Made from the same high-quality materials as the full-size Kestrel only smaller, these pocket sized binoculars retain excellent image quality and close focus for outstanding performance. Suitable in different weather thanks to being fully waterproof, these compacts feature high quality ED glass resulting in amazing image clarity.

Lightweight and portable

Featuring a dual hinge design means that the Kestrel compacts can be folded down and fitted in a pocket with ease. And at only 312g they are lightweight enough to wear comfortably with the supplied strap or in the carry case with belt loop.

Excellent compact binoculars for when I go walking

I bought these binoculars after reading some good reviews. I’m very pleased with these. They look and feel solid and well made. The image is very clear and bright and the field of view is fine for my use (scenery and a bit of bird spotting).
They fit nicely in the side pocket of my rucksack and the attached protective covers are very handy. The twist-out eye cups feel very positive and have 2 positions. Based on my experience, I bought a second pair for my daughter.

Exceptionally sharp focus

These are brilliant. I’ve tried a lot of 8x25 and 10x25 binoculars at the budget end of the market and these outperformed anything else I could get for under £150. Exceptionally sharp focus, less colour fringing, decent eye cups. Highly recommend

Already own a pair of the 8x42 Kestrels and have been wanting a pair of compacts for a while and decided to wait for these. At £150 they were a bit more than I had planned on (I had budgeted for around £100) but I decided to treat myself as I love my Kestrels and these came with ED glass.

I've had for about a week now and very happy with my decision. Obviously not as bright as the 8x42s but the image clarity is excellent and they're perfect for slipping into my jacket pocket when I'm taking the dog out for a walk. Focus is smooth and sharp. Overall quality is excellent- very happy with my purchase!
