Highlander Outdoors have gained a solid reputation for affordable camping equipment and the Blackthorn 1 is an impressive lightweight tent for backpacking. It features a low-profile to prevent buffeting by strong winds and rains and constructed from a waterproof and breathable fabric. It is only waterproof to 2000mm HH, which should be adequate for most conditions but we'd recommend this as a great starter tent for wild camping in fairer conditions. It is super easy to pitch and only took us 5 minutes with just 2 tent poles. At this price point you'll be hard-pressed to find a better tent or Wild Camping!
