The Ortus 2 also has a night-time display. The digital clock display appears brightly at the touch of a button then fades back to black after 10 seconds. When in standby, it has a large clock display with the time. You can also adjust the display dimmer at night so that you can sleep peacefully.

Poor audio quality.

Despite a useful range of features, this radio lets down the Roberts name with its poor audio quality - tinny and bass light. I cannot recommend it.

Excellent service, excellent product

We are very pleased with our Roberts alarm clock/radio. It looks good. The preset stations are easy to set and the sound quality is excellent. The time display can be dimmed to an acceptable level. In fact, it does everything we were looking for. We thoroughly recommend this clock - definitely worth the money.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Love this alarm clock radio! It has 2 alarms so I can set one for weekdays and (a later) one to a different station for the weekend. There is a snooze function, and a feature that will switch the radio off at night if you like to fall asleep to it on, which I sometimes do. You can also make the display turn off if you don't want any of the light in your bedroom at night. DAB reception is fine though admittedly we're in quite a good location for it and have never had any problems. The included instructions were clear and easy to follow. There's even an in-built USB, which you can use to charge your phone. All in all and excellent piece of kit and delighted with my purchase and the service from ligo!
