User-friendly and quick to charge, thanks to its USB jack or 2 pin jack, the XT30 is a reliable choice whatever your walkie talkie needs. Boasting several additional features, including: VOX, CALL, SCAN functions, a keypad lock button, a tone muffler for the end of transmission, and low battery indicator. The Midland XT30 requires 3x AAA batteries, matched with auto Power Save for a long battery life, up to 5 hours. Communication is up to 6 km in optimal conditions.

Light and compact radios, they are great for those who want to start with something basic.

Good radio just wish battery is longer

The product is really good for its value for money. In general, in Midland products you can choose from a wide range to find the right compromise, starting from their toy walkie talkies to get to professional products. The only drawback to this product is the battery life, which I expected to be longer but it is what it is sadly.

Excellent walkie talkies

I yet to test them over great distances so can't attest to how well they perform in that respect but got good reception and audio from about half a mile apart with a hill between us.

The handsets themselves feel well built and are easy to use. Comes with a great charger cable so you can get them both recharged at the same time. And they already come with rechargeable batteries so there's no need to shell out on more (and they take standard size normal batteries if you need some back-up).

Overall I think these are excellent walkie talkies and was very pleased with the price and speed of delivery. Would order again
