What is Whole Home WiFi?

Many larger homes and office blocks find that their standard WiFi router just doesn’t give them the range that they need. In the past, this issue has been solved using extenders, but these come with their own set of problems. For one, they have a significant impact on overall connection speeds, since they sap some of the WiFi’s power in order to boost the signal. What’s more, most extenders create a whole new network, leaving users constantly flipping between them and losing connection in the process. Luckily, whole home WiFi solves both of these issues.

Instead of merely boosting the existing signal, whole home WiFi uses multiple units (known as nodes) which work together to create a single, seamless network. Each node is essentially as powerful as the base router, giving you a fast, reliable connection wherever you go. Using either a two-band or three-band signal, the nodes automatically drive WiFi power to the devices that need it most. Whether you’re streaming movies in the living room or listening to music in the kitchen, you can count on whole home WiFi to keep you connected.

Simple to set up

While our whole home WiFi products are packed with powerful technology, that’s not to say they are tricky to set up. In fact, quite the opposite- most only take a few minutes to set up, and guide you through the process via a smartphone app. They even tell you just where to place each node for the maximum coverage, so you won’t need to worry about any blackspots. Once everything is plugged in and connected, you can sit back and let the advanced mesh technology take care of the rest.

Packed with extra features

Each of our whole home WiFi products comes with its own accompanying app. This gives you complete control over your WiFi network. You can easily set up guest networks and decide which devices have priority for the fastest connection speeds. Many also come with advanced parental controls, allowing you to switch off the WiFi for your kids’ devices when it’s time for dinner or homework.
