    Class above the rest

This is a fantastic phone and a class above anything we've had before. Lovely design with sturdy metal casing and nice large colour display.

    The best bits:
    - Synchronise contacts effortlessly across all handsets from smartphone
    - Brilliant sound quality
    - Excellent coverage throughout our home

    Minor gripes:
    - The base unit is a bit basic
    - Would've preferred cradle to be the same colour as the handsets

    Very happy

Very happy with this purchase! Great phone with lots of features and very easy to setup. Huge difference in sound quality between the phone it replaced! Also looks great and feels well made! Bit pricey but well worth it if you ask me!

    A Good Choice

Quick delivery, sound support over a trivial query. The phones are neat, nicely illuminated, very good hands-off sound and lots of programmable features. Very satisfied with them.

Gigaset SL450A The best we've found

We had had Gigaset before but eventually it wore out and we got irritated with it. Decided to try something different and went for a recommended alternative. It was useless for our home so we sent it back. Reluctantly we paid real money for the SL450A because it seemed to have good quality components and a superior range of sound capability. You know the saying - you get what you pay for! It works well all around the house, features and functions are familiar from the previous set, we can hear folks who call us, and I believe they can hear us too. So it does the job and is perfectly reliable. Let's hope the battery life is better than the previous generations - we'll find out next year.

    Top-class!

This is my second Gigaset phone. The build quality it second to none and the sound quality is superb. Nice look and feel to this model and there are plenty of features to change. Probably the best phone I've ever owned.

    Excellent phones

I bought these as an upgrade from my earlier Gigaset phones and am very happy with them. Shame that they're not compatible with iPhones though :(. I would recommend them as they are very clear and easy to use.

    Expensive but fantastic clear audio

I was specifically looking for replacement phones that offered clear, crisp audio and about the size of a mobile phone.
After reading some reviews across a wide number of sources, i opted for SL450A.
Although very expensive they have to be the best home phone i have every had.
The main feature for me is the audio - it is so crisp and clear.
It is pretty easy to set up and i love the fact that there is no phone tied to the base unit - in other words, the base plugs in to the telephone socket and the phones are all standalone; meaning you don't have to have a phone sitting with the base unit.
There is only one feature i miss, the SL450 does not have the ability to allow in house group call - i.e. only one handset can be used on an active call, you can't have a group call (many in house talking to the one active call).
Overall, very expensive but for me worth the money for the clarity of the audio.

    Great phones

Very pleased with these. Audio quality very good. Having a separate base station makes it very flexible to install.

    excellent

The SL45 is definitely with the extra spend. Set up to our landline was very easy and even though one of the handsets is located in a remote part f the house, in an extension, it still works well. Stylish design as well.
