We already have a couple of DAB radios, but wanted another for our living room. We wanted a something with very good sound quality, excellent build, easy to use, and stylish. Required features were dedicated preset buttons, DAB+/FM, and Bluetooth.
We went to John Lewis and compared the Revo SuperSignal to the Ruark R1 and thought the Revo had a much richer and more natural sound. Our local John Lewis didn't have the Revo SuperSignal in the colour we wanted and it was available next day from ligo so we decided just to order here. After a couple of weeks (quite heavy) use I am happy to report that this radio has met our expectations in all respects. It has the look and feel of a top quality product so I am confident it has been well made and will last the test of time. It looks very good, and was very straightforward to set up the preset buttons. I like the joystick for navigating and the remote control is better than some of the other flimsy ones that have been included with other radios. The best thing about the SuperSignal is of course the sound, which is rich and clear for spoken word programmes on Radio 4, and equally excellent for listing to music on BBC 6. Our hearing is not exactly what it used to be and the volume is more than adequate and fairly impressive for its relatively compact size. Overall we are delighted with our Revo radio and would highly recommend. Have ordered from ligo before and as always they provided top-class service.
• Sound quality
• Easy to programme
• Bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

I wanted an easy to use compact DAB radio for my bedside, which allows me to switch between the few stations I usually listen to. I really liked the style of this and found that upon purchase, the setup was very straightforward. Given it's size I think that the sound quality is very impressive. Adding station pre-sets was easy to program and they can be selected using the buttons on the radio or with the included remote control. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend!

Nice size, lovely design (nice quality look and feel to the unit), and excellent sound quality. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace an older Pure radio that we've had for a few years and never really been happy with. Have been using the Revo for a few weeks now and I have to say the difference in quality has been worth every penny. Excellent sound quality, so much so, that I find myself listening to the radio more often than I used to. The Revo Supersignal is the best radio I've ever had and would highly recommend it!

Bought to replace a tiny bedroom radio which has only FM and thus a short future. With the overblown bass turned down (still very detailed at lowest setting) and treble turned up - both using the Equalizer - the sound is incredibly good. Fabulous quality build and the new remote control is great - no need to get out of bed. True the Standby brightness (called Contrast in the Menu) is a bit bright in the dark even on Low but that's being picky. A brilliant choice which makes listening to the 10pm to midnight music programmes on Radio 2 a brilliant but guilty pleasure.

I bought this to replace an older Ruark R1. The Revo has a much richer, more dynamic sound than the Ruark, which sounds slightly thin when comparing the two. I didn't imagine there would be much difference, since they are both about the same size and price.
One thing to note is that the bass is a bit on the heavy side by default. I had to set the bass to at least -5 to avoid boominess. Would be great if it came turned down by default!
Tuner could do with being a little more sensitive too but works well with internet radio

Bought as a replacement for a Pure Evoke. Blown away by the sound and it looks great too. If you're thinking of buying a Revo radio then I would say definitely go for it

I was a bit unsure about spending over £100 on a radio, but after reading up on this model it seemed to offer a real step up in quality. Pleased to say that it lives up to my expectations!
Sound quality is excellent but starts to distort when turned all the way up. Easy to control too as its just a simple bluetooth connection. Aerial is nice and reliable too.
Every bit of this product radiates quality, even the box. Packaging matches up with the quality and attention to detail of the product inside. Had a lot of use from my Supersignal now and would heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a decent quality digital radio.

As someone who owns DAB radios from a number of manufacturers, I have to say that the Revo model is a cut above the others in terms of sound quality. It's particularly impressive when compared to other models of a similar size and price. It also comes with a remote, which usually only come with more expensive models. At first I thought that the remote was a bit too chunky, but in practise I find that this helps me to not lose it won the sofa! One thing to note is that if you use your laptop next to the radio (like I often do) it tends to disrupt the radio signal quite a bit. It's not a major problem though, so the SuperSignal still gets 5 stars from me!

After owning my Supersignal for a week, I don't have a bad word to say against it. It looks great, sounds great, and works great- a winning combination!
Some people might think that £190 is a lot of money to spend on a radio. That might be true, but you definitely get what you pay for. Frequency response is excellent, the bass is surprisingly punchy and the high end is nice and crisp. I'd read reviews saying Revo radios sacrifice high end for bass performance, but I disagree; I think it sounds just right.
The display screen is also a plus, since it's actually got enough room to display the whole station and song titles. OTher radios I've had have struggled to even fit "BBC Radio 2" on the screen all at once.
When I first turned it on, it quickly found all the stations and set the time automatically. Much better than our old clock radio!
Setting the presets is really easy, just press and hold when you're on the stations you want. The volume control is also a nice touch, feels soft and doesn't have any notches in it so you just adjust it to your own liking. In fact all of the buttons feel good, a bit more solid than just a click to them.
Didn't have to look at the manual once when setting it up, all the controls make perfect sense by themselves. Reception is great as well, other radios I've tried in the room have just shot out static but the Revo hasn't fallen down once.
Bluetooth is flawless, plays albums from my phone no problem.
If I had to come up with a problem then I'd say the remote buttons are a little tricky to see without my glasses on. Although that's really my eyes more than anything!
Everything about it is a winner, so glad I went with this one.
