If you’re looking for a two-way radio that can put up with extreme conditions, then the Motorola TLKR T92 is the ideal choice. Whether you’re using it in a demanding workplace environment or on a kayaking adventure, this is a walkie talkie that will never let you down.

Motorola TALKABOUT T92 Waterproof
Floating waterproof design

Some two-way radios are waterproof, but the Motorola T92 takes things a step further. Thanks to a special core, it will float if you drop it in water. What’s more, the torch is also activated when the radio comes into contact with water, so you can easily spot it should you drop it. Thanks to an IP67 rating, all the components inside are protected from the water, which also makes the TLKR T92 fully weatherproof.

Motorola TALKABOUT T92 Range
Long-range- up to 10km

The Motorola TLKR T92 offers extensive range of up to 10km in optimum conditions. That’s much further than most two-way radios, so it’s ideal if you need your set to cover some extra distance. Motorola radios generally offer a reliable range, and the TLKR range in particular got top marks in liGo’s in-house tests. While the actual range will vary depending on the surrounding environment, the TLKR T92 performs well over longer distances.

Motorola TALKABOUT T92 Features
Packed with features

The T92 also includes a host of handy features that help make it one of the top two-way radios on the market. Some of these are major additions, such as VOX functionality for hands-free use or the built-in torch. But there are also plenty of small touches which will prove extremely useful in certain circumstances. For instance, the removable belt clip also includes a whistle, so you can still signal to others in your group even if the radio gets broken or runs out of power. What’s more, there’s an emergency button which will automatically tell others that you’re in trouble with just one quick press.

Motorola TALKABOUT T92 Battery
Up to 16 hours’ battery life

With the Motorola TLKR T92, there’s no need to continually buy disposable batteries to keep on using the radio. Instead, each handset comes with its own rechargeable battery pack, which can be powered up using the included micro USB plug. When fully charged, these battery packs provide up to 16 hours’ use, which should be plenty. If you need any extra power in between charging, then we also offer additional battery packs. Take a spare along with you, and you can simply swap out the used battery for a charged one for double the usage time!

Excellent product

These radios are fantastic, great colour so easy to spot, we bought some heavy duty boot laces to thread through the back of radio and then we can wear them around our necks, great for keeping in touch whilst out with dogs, they have more features than we expected and they seem easy to use, had no problems with them so far

These are perfect for Paddle Boarding on trips and when I'm covering water safety for Open Water Swimming. Very robust, float and work perfectly.

Not that easy to operate

We bought 4 to add to our existing shoot radios. The instructions are not very clear and at one point we had one radio that could receive but couldn't transmit and it took 3 of us ages of looking on YouTube for the answer, there was nothing in the instructions. I'm still not exactly sure how we resolved it.overall though the range is good enough for us to be able to communicate.
