I use these radios on fishing trips and I can safely say they live up to Motorola's reputation. Nice and solidly built, sound quality is great, and most importantly the battery lasts a good while so you're not forever having it run out on you. Would recommend.

Simple to set up and programme. Nice modern design. 16 channels so can be used in busy areas no problem. Range will depend on the environment but easily achieved 4km in open countryside. At higher altitudes you could get double that. Obviously the range is a lot less in towns but still okay. Works as expected.

Good quality walkie talkies. Achieved about a mile in range but it's hit or miss if you'll get further than that. Not bad given the price

Good mid level two way radio. Range is good considering the price, don't expect it to reach someone miles away, but if you're using it on a camp site or a few streets apart it will work well. I like the easy pair button too, means you don't have to faff about setting them all to the same channel.

Bought these for use on a cycling trip. They worked very well in helping us to stay in touch along the bike path. Nice and compact, simple to set up and durable if dropped. Reception was good.
