I had read that there would be problems with it being an older piece of equipment in need of updating and some other issues. I did receive with it some German notes on how to use it but I downloaded the English manual from Ligo and had the unit up and running in just a few minutes. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the range of the Bluetooth link. Really handy unit. Prefer taking calls on my landline system of 4 wireless VOIP Gigaset handsets connected to a VOIP hub, connected to a Three mobile router (100GB data for £30 per month). Completely wireless system, completed by getting my incoming mobile calls over the house system. I can also dial out via my mobile from the house phone system if desired. Very versatile.

I bought this little unit for two reasons. Firstly, having taken the decision to stop paying for a landline telephone line that I almost never use, I wanted a way to continue to use the DECT cordless phones I bought less than a year ago, and this device links them to one or more mobile phone lines really well (including the caller ID which displays on the DECT handsets).
Secondly (and more excitingly for a retro vintage techno-geek!) this phone hub allows connection of an old GPO rotary pulse dial phone with real bells in.... so I can now actually use the old rotary dial to call out via my mobile phone! Incoming calls ring the bells in the vintage phone, albeit a little more weakly than BT line used to, and you may of course answer the call on the old phone too.
All in all, a very useful product and a great techno-bridge between the past and the present that means anyone can use not just recent landline phones, but also those lovely old 300 and 700 series GPO phones, even if they don't have any land line at all.

Works really well and very easy to set up. Unbeatable price.
As other reviewers have said you have to keep your mobile very close to the BluWave to prevent speech becoming distorted. However it automatically connects to my mobile as soon as I walk in the door of my home, a distance of some 10 meters away from the unit, so at least the phones will ring even if my mobile is too far away from the unit to hear the caller properly.
I recommend Ligo and BlueWave to all my friends and family.

Have had this for about 6 months now. I live in a rural area where broadband struggles to rise to 0.1mbps - so switched to a 4g three router with external aerials and unlimited data to solve that. However, I only get reasonable, reliable mobile phone reception (4G VOLTE), inside the house, in a small spot ... so I have an old mobile phone situated there, with reliable reception and linked to the ligo bluewave by bluetooth and to a gigaset hub which then distributes all calls to my existing Gigaset handsets throughout the house. No need for a landline and goodbye BT - swapping an £8 sim with unlimited minutes and texts for BT and over £19 for line rental with call costs on top - no brainer. This little set has proven very reliable for both outgoing and incoming calls and the Gigaset handsets I had used with my BT landline phone work perfectly, including messages etc. A great piece of kit and an absolute 'steal' at this price
