If you use a smart phone, you'll love this phone. It works like most smart mobiles & it's intuitive to use. All my contacts have photos & their own ring tones which makes a refreshing change from standard cordless phones. They look good & feel even better. Speaker phone is important for me because I'm 72% deaf & on this phone it's load & clear. I can even hear the answer phone. In the charger, the clock feature is very useful too. The phone is similar size to an iPhone in its width & a little longer in height. I wouldn't want younger children to use it because it would be easy to drop. Every one who sees it wants one & I'm very pleased. One last point, if you add short cut icons for quick dial to your most used numbers, you must key lock the screen because otherwise you will be phoning without knowing.

This is the best phone out there for style and design. Although it is expensive, you get what you pay for - real quality.

I was hesitating to buy this phone, as it is quite expensive, but after using it for a few weeks now I am sure I made the right decision. It looks great in our living room and it's fun to use.

It truly is an amazing looking phone, and is so easy to set-up and use. The base part that connect to the phone line is separate from the handset, which means we can keep that out of the way and have the handset on display. There is a great clock screensaver, though we\'ve been toying with the idea of using one of our photos but not got round to doing it yet.\nWhat else? The sound quality is crystal clear and far better than anything else we\'ve had in the past. \nYes it\'s expensive but you get what you pay for with this so I\'m very pleased and would be happy to recommend it.

I needed to replace our set of home cordless phones and wanted to invest in a decent set that wasn’t going to pack in as soon as it was out of warranty. Gigaset seemed to come out on top in my research and this SL910A seemed to get a good write up.
Like a lot of people I dithered over the price of this unit but eventually decided to bite the bullet. Overall I am very impressed with the phones. They have been in use for a little over a fortnight and this my feedback. Setting up the phones was very easy - simply a case of plugging them in (I have yet to explore and use all the features) and away you go. The touchscreen is a little slow to respond but as long as you take your time it is fine and having the larger screen is nice and suits us.
Each handset comes with its own little station and neither has to be connected to our telephone line so we no longer need to keep one of our handsets in the hallway (and remember to put it back to charge each night!).
The difference in the quality of sound on phone calls between this and the phones we replaced is staggering. Very clear, good range of volume, and an excellent handsfree speaker.
All in all this is a fantastic phone. Yes it is expensive but if you want something that has been built to last and delights in design, features and quality it can’t get any better than this!
- Look and feel of the handsets
- Large display
- Well made
- Touchscreen takes getting use to

I guess this phone would be suitable for tech savvy
youngsters but I couldn’t recommend it for the more “mature” user.
Firstly ,it will only ring a few times before reverting to voice mail ( if turned on) or just disconnecting the caller. Why not just ring until the caller gets fed up?
Or at least allow the user to custom the amount of rings to a suitable amount?
If you’re old, disabled ,etc you won’t get to the phone in time to take the call & not everybody likes voice mail.
In line with this errror,as I missed several calls, I went into the missed calls menu to check who the calls were from ( I’m not a complete technophobe) only to find that no missed calls are listed!
I know I missed them because I heard them

Arrived earlier than expected, and proved very easy to set up!

I'm still playing with setting this up. A few things seem a little intuitive. I expected the circle button to act a bit like a "home" button, but it doesn't seem to when you're deep into messages. The ring tones are all pretty awful, I'll have to see if it's possible to upload new ones. I had hoped I could transfer photos via Bluetooth for contacts, but that doesn't seem to be possible either. It seems a little odd that I can pick up a smart phone and use it with no instructions or difficultly and yet I find myself constantly looking at the manual for this phone. It's solid and well built, and looks great. It could just do with taking a few UI hints from Google, Apple or even Microsoft smart phones.
