  Siemens Gigaset s79h

  I had already purchased this model as a quintet 4 or 5 years ago. After a lightning strike which seemed over the house we lost not only the broadband, a printer a control box for conservatory vents we lost the base phone from the quintet set. The replacement base plus hand set was very easy to set up and match the original 4 handsets to the base phone. It is as though nothing had happened. Very pleased with this phone system and the service from Ligo. The one feature that would be very useful would be to have the ability to transfer calls from one hand set to another.The whole point in having 5 hand sets is to place them around the house so they are convenient, however, if a call is received on one hand set but the caller wants to speak to someone near a hand set that is further away it does not seem possible.   An excellent phone with handsfree use

  The speaker phone function also works when the phone is in the cradle charging; useful for long calls.
  
  Thoroughly recommended for business and private use.

  Excellent but not quite there

  Excellent phone and has some nice features but let done by one thing for me is the fact you can not set ring settings on the answer phone no settings for how may rings you can set before it triggers the answer phone shame about that.

  Well worth it

  I\'ve always been of the opinion that you get what you pay for and this phone certainly doesn\'t disappoint. You are paying for the quality of a decent handset, excellent sound, good range, and brilliant features. Top-product that I would highly recommend!

  Well worth buying

  this was delivered on time was fairly easy to set up with a clear answer phone and looks better than most of the other ones I looked at but shiny base unit scratched on first use.

  Like it but some problems with following manual.

  Can anyone help me? the manual is for other versions of the phone and so my buttons have different titles and I cannot seem to make changes.

  Too soon after purchase to give any real opinion, but appears to fulfil my needs and saves paying BT �£1.75 per month for BT answer 1571.
