  Excellent!

  We have a particular problem in that our phone socket is not in a very convenient location. The Gigaset C570A has been the perfect solution to this as the base unit is completely separate from the handset. This allows us to keep the handsets where they are used most often. Not only that the quality of these phones is the best we've had. Sound quality is especially clear. Both the earpiece and speaker mode are pin sharp. I've already had occasion to use a handset as a handsfree speakerphone, and was impressed with the quality. Battery life is also very good - handset can be left out of its cradle for days and still hold a decent amount of charge. The answering machine works well too but can be accessed from any handset, which is how we typically access it due to the location of our phone point. My only quibble is with the cradle which is a little lightweight for a fairly tall phone. Its a minor point, but does require a small amount of care when putting the phone back in. Overall, very happy with the device and service

  Really good!

  Really good clear sound. Speakerphone seems to work substantially better than our previous phones (Panasonic & BT). Intercom feature is now actually useful for a couple of reasons. First, each handset can be given a name eg. Living room, Kitchen etc - and when starting an intercom call you can choose which one to call by picking the name from a menu rather than having to remember which station number is in which room. Secondly, it saves me from yelling up the stairs - especially in a 3-storey house.

  A very good set of phones!

  We have these Gigaset C570A phones installed in three houses within our family and really like them. Firstly, the sound quality is excellent, really clear and steady and you can customise the sound characteristics too. The range is long and there's no interference even when you move from room to room. Battery life is also very good too and the handsets will last for several days off their chargers although, obviously, long calls will run them down more quickly.
  
  Despite being feature rich set up is straightforward and changing settings is intuitive. You can customise the screens/ring tones etc. easily and the colour screen is surprisingly much easier to see than the black on orange monochrome versions. Phonebook entries can be copied from one handset to all the other. There are also some basic call blocking features, which are handy and effective too.
  
  They do have a premium price, however, we feel it is justified for a very good set of phones which should give years of service and has all the features we need. Recommended.

  All you would need

  I bought this to replace a hard wired phone which was part of a system that the squirrels had disconnected. The replacement cable would have been a nightmare as the phone was located several rooms away. We've always had a problem with wi fi signals in the house and I didn't hold out much hope for this to work, needn't have worried though as it works REALLY well. Highly recommended, Loads of features and settings so a few more weeks on lockdown and I'll have had the time to aquaint myself with some.

  Good home phone

  This is a useful home phone. It does everything you need it to AND it has a great call blocking feature. So if you get called by anyone you never want to speak to again, you just block them. No more phone hassles. It is very easy to set up and use. Great buy. Get one. Wish I had gotten a second handset for upstairs too.

  Highly recommend!

  Very good cordless phone & answering machine. A previous model, superceded by this one, was a Which? Best Buy, indeed all Siemens phones like this have been highly rated by Which? (I've been a member for 20+ years. We had a much earlier, single handset model that lasted more than a decade. Highly recommend!

  Great set of phones

  Great set of phones. Seting them up is easy and to date we have had no issues. The phones are better than the BT ones they have replaced for sound quality and range.
