Nice ringtone but confusing to set up

There is a manual for each phone and the main one has many pages, diagrams and instructions resulting having to switch back and forth to follow the instructions. I found it all rather mesmerising and at present only use a few basic menus. Haven’t got the directory synchronised with all three phones. I seemed to do it at first then pressed something that has eliminated it from the two supplementary phones. I will eventually sort things out but it is very time consuming.

Pleased with clarity of speech but very disappointed with Set up and menu not user friendly

Purchased due to deafness and use of hearing aids. The gigaset-s e560 accommodates my expensive hearing aids well but I found the set up and on going menu complicated and certainly not user friendly.Still getting used to traversing the menu and ok button to select detail like last number recall. which should be easy but it is not.

Not as loud as would have liked

Purchased this for someone who is going deaf, and is not as loud as I would have liked, certainly not as loud as a previous desk phone, although it is very clear. Also it seems that it isn't possible to set it permenantly for the highest volume, it's necessary to use the volume keys at the side of the phone, which may be confusing for some older users.

    Very good!

The phone is very good! The staff at ligo recommended me this model based on the criteria I provided. They were very patient and helpful in answering all my questions to make sure it had everything I was looking for and clearly know their stuff. There was a bit of a wait for delivery as they didn't have any left when I ordered (must be popular!) but it was worth it. Couldn't be happier with the phones and would certainly use ligo again.

    PROS:
    - Loud volume
    - Clear display
    - Easy to use
    - Larger style buttons
    - Call quality

    CONS:
    - User manual is too long

    Very good

The phone was recommended to us by a previous customer. We have been very satisfied. I have hearing problems, but find this phone an improvement on my previous one, which was recommended by RNID. This is the first time we have had a cordless phone system, but it was easy to set up. I entered all names into the phones directory, then did it for the 2nd device, and then found in the handbook that it was very easy to just send the same information to the other extension! Very pleased, and would recommend. Prompt delivery too.

    Very disappointing...

Purchased these phones as my husband is severely partially sighted. We both find them very difficult to use. They keep cutting out mid- conversation. The Manual is far too long and the set up isn't user friendly.
Overall very disappointing and I definitely wouldn't recommend them!

On the good side, the technical help from LiGo (Adam) has been very helpful and he trying to help us resolve the issues. Fingers crossed!

East to use big button phones

Purchased for an elderly parent. Easy to set up and demonstrate. The four "A,B,C,D" quick dial buttons make for easy, accessible use. Also, very good all round phones that are fully featured. Good build quality. Recommended

Complicated phone to set up . Instructions dire!

I purchased this Big Button phone set as I was having problems seeing my other one. Considering that it is a BIG BUTTON PHONE, the instructions are in such a small font that a magnifier is needed. I would have thought that common sense would have told whoever designed these and expecting them to be read easily would not need a BIG BUTTON PHONE. Even my son was unable to read those that came with the single handsets and his eye are fine.
Complicated to set up and far too many features on it and instructions far from clear. My son set the phones up for me and linked them all with the base unit but when I had put all my numbers into the directory it only registered on 2 handsets and not the third. To find a number in the directory is a pain also as it is not straightforward. Could never class it as speed dialling. Most frustrating! I wish I had stuck to Panasonic!

    satisfied

Like most modern items it comes with a myriad of detail which can be daunting but eventually I have a phone that I can hear conversations with, certainly a good purchase if you have hearing difficulties.
