Just press the button on the Solo itself, and instantly flick between DAB, FM, internet radio, and Spotify Connect.
Not only does the Como Solo include all the listening options you could ask for, but it is also a beautiful piece of design work in itself. Inspired by Italian style, this DAB radio is sure to fit in flawlessly with your interior decor. The lovingly crafted hickory casing also helps to boost the Solo’s acoustic capabilities, too. In creating their DAB radio range, Como Audio have kept multiroom in mind. All of their products can seamlessly sync up to provide full musical coverage throughout your home. Just connect via the Como app, and you can instantly select what plays where. For additional ease of use, the Como Amico comes with six different preset options. These can be used across FM, DAB, and internet radio. So, if you come across a new station that you want to come back to later, simply assign it to a preset. What’s more, you can also add Spotify playlists as presets, so you can instantly start playing your favourites without even taking your phone out of your pocket.

This is an astonishing bit of kit and combines stunning good looks with the most modern methods of listening to audio. The included remote control is an added boon and the app is extremely impressive. I highly recommend this device.

I was browsing for DAB radios without any particular product in mind when the Como Solo caught my eye. I'm glad it did since this radio has everything I was looking for: good sound quality, connectivity, compact size, and most importantly style. I was searching for a high quality audio device that would match the style of our newly refitted kitchen while also being loud enough to fill both the kitchen and the adjacent dining room. This device offers exactly that and works exceptionally well with a wide range of audio sources. It delivers everything I was looking for without even connecting it to the optional Ambiente or a similar RCA speaker.

I'm mostly happy with the Como Audio Solo, apart from a couple of issues. The sound quality though is excellent, especially for such a small radio. It's really clear and does a good job of filling the ground floor of my house. It's also a very nice looking piece of tech. It all comes down to whether you can live with the following issues. I can, but some users might find them dealbreakers.
1. The software can run a bit slowly at times, especially when first connecting to the wifi. It took a few minutes to find my network, while my phone can connect in seconds.
2. For a device that can run so many different stations and sources, it seems strange that you're limited to just 6 preset buttons (which cover EVERYTHING). It would have made more sense for these to at least be split up across sources, so that you could have 6 digital radio stations, 6 internet stations and so on. Not sure why Como haven't done that.
3. I'm yet to get the Solo to work with my iPhone using a USB cable and the USB setting. I've only been able to use it using an aux cable. That's absolutely fine, it still works and it's not like the cable is any shorter than the USB one. It would just be nice to be able to plug and play a smartphone and charge it at the same time.

I've owned Tivoli radios for many years, as I love their simple style as well as the great sound quality that they offer. No surprise that I liked the look of Como radios too- turns out they are made by the same designer!
I needed a new clock radio for the bedroom. However in our new home the DAB signal can be a bit hit or miss, especially in the back bedroom.
I thought that I'd give an internet radio a go, since it seemed like the perfect solution to my problem.
It works perfectly! The sound is of excellent quality and if you want to get true stereo sound you can simply add on another Como speaker.
The clock can be set to your choice of digital or analogue- I prefer the latter since it's easier to read when I've just woken up! There are two alarms, as well as a sleep timer so you can fall asleep with the radio on and have it automatically switch off after a while. The radio can be controlled with the included remote control, or alternatively through a free smartphone app.
On top of the internet radio, it also has FM and DAB, Spotify, a pair of 3.5mm inputs and an optical input.
The Como Solo covers everything you could ask for. It's got so many features, as well as a nice classic design.
I'd recommend this to anyone toying with buying one. The only (small) drawback is that internet radio stations can be about a minute behind FM broadcasts. But this is down to the technology, not the unit itself.
