We bought this as it was the latest call blocking phone from BT and we have been inundated with cold calls and nothing else has worked. Did a lot of research online before ordering and spoke with a lovely advisor at ligo who was very patient and answered all of my questions (proper good old fashioned customer service – so nice to be able to talk to another human). Delivery was fast, arrived the following day and since setting up the phone (which was as easy as pie) we haven’t had a single nuisance call. Happy days – would highly recommend!

Brilliant phones, not one nuisance call since plugging them in. The number of cold callers still shows up as a missed call but you don't know it's happening. Good features. The handset sharing is a good feature which should have been standard by now. I always used to ad a contact on one phone then try to dial them from the other phone! Very annoying. Also if you come in and check your missed calls then go upstairs and check the other phone it always annoyed me that it said you have missed calls. You don't get that on these phones as they update on both phones what you do. Simple but useful feature.

After a couple of months they had to go back - absolutely awful.nnFirstly off the range kept dropping out. Lucky if we got 5m let alone the 50m that BT claim it can do! Sure we have thick walls in the house but our older cordless set was fine and didn't crackle and drop out as much as this.nnAnd to top it all off the screen went black and wouldn't switch on. Has now been replaced with a Gigaset phone recommended by Andy at ligo, the s850 which is a far superior model. Sound is great and no more issues with calls dropping out.nnShould say that the call blocker function of the BT 8600 is good and worked well but doesn't make up for everything else wrong with it. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of BT!

Had this phone over a year now and no complaints at all. It does the job that i bought it for as in a call blocker.Compare this phone with other foreign ones and it is relatively cheap.

They have been replaced twice already because they were faulty. Ligo have very kindly arranged for this set to be exchanged with something by Gigaset....fingers crossed this is the end to this sorry saga.
