LiGo gave me excellent advice before purchase and the BT4600 handset exceeded my expectations.
I will buy from them again with confidence.

This was bought as a replacement for an earlier model (4500) which had failed. The first 4600 handset I received was damaged in transit but was immediately replaced without any hassle or quibbles. The replacement logged in to the old (4500) base station immediately and works perfectly out of the box.

The product has proved to be worthless. It will not recognise my existing base station nor the password.

Shortcomings I found with the BT4600 system:
- The display is lit only briefly when taking a handset off its charger and only then
- Unless a caller left a message on the answer phone the only indication of a new (missed) call is that this fact is displayed on the handset screen
- Phone book name length is only 14 characters into which it is difficult to squeeze, for example, names of organisation + department + contact name
- Where a contact has both landline and mobile numbers, separate entries are required in the phone book and, because only one entry is displayed per name, you need to think about the collating sequence, e.g. Joe Bloggs and Joe Bloggs MOB.
Nonetheless, it's fit for my purpose and I can live with the shortcomings at that price. A big plus is that it's easy to handle for my wife.
