BT 4000 Quint Big Button Cordless Phones with Extra-Loud Volume & Call Blocking

The BT 4000 Quint is a big button and hearing aid compatible set of landline cordless phones designed specifically for elderly users. Features include a user-friendly design, which incorporates an easy to read amber backlit display with extra large font, bigger buttons, and an amplify button for an instant boost in volume. The phones also benefit from BT’s nuisance call blocking, enabling users to prevent incoming calls from international and withheld numbers, in addition to blocking up to 10 specific numbers. A reliable choice if you’re looking for ease of use and dependable quality.

User-friendly features

Contacts can be stored on the BT 4000’s phonebook, which can store up to 100 names and numbers and only need to be entered once as they are automatically copied to both handsets. And in addition to the call blocking features, there is also a handy ‘Do not Disturb’ mode, which will silence the phone from ringing for all but the most important contacts saved in your phonebook.

Extra loud & Hearing Aid Compatible

Offering superb clarity of sound; the BT 4000 is a dependable choice of home phone for those whose hearing may not be what it used to. An integrated inductive coupler has been included for compatibility with hearing aids, and as mentioned previously there is an ‘Amplify’ button to give an added boost to the volume.

Great phone but?

I have had this phone a while now and I can't fault it except for one thing. I was showing a friend how the call barring for certain numbers works. I used my own mobile number as an example and now I don't know how to un-bar it! Does anyone know how to do this?

Short line cord

why are all line cords so short. The longer ones are supposed to be universal {so bt tell me } but I have tried to buy 3 phones and had to take them back, I also purchased 2 longer line cords but thet definitely do not work wat is the answer? many thanks

Good quality, loud and clear

Bought the 4 pack for mum and dad, good clear buttons, loud by default. nThe phone has an amplify button which toggles extra loud for the duration of the call, it would be easier to use if this was just part of the volume control (then there is only one way of operation to teach).nThe hands free mode is very useful and clear, and setup is straightforward (the first two phones with the base station work by default, the additional 2 I purchased needed a specific pairing sequence but its all in the manual.nThe phone book sync's between all handsets which is neat.nnWould recommend as a normal landline phone, not just for hard of hearing/sight.nnDelivery was lightning fastn

Practical Phone

A very practical, easy to use phone. Hardly the sleekest of designs but if good functionality and value for money are of a greater priority for you then you won't be disappointed.
