Today marks the launch of iOS8 from Apple, and there are a lot of great new features available. The update is due for release around 6pm in the UK and due to the high numbers of iPhones on the market don't be surprised if it takes a while to download the updates this evening.
One of the updates iPhone users will be glad to see is the new battery usage option in the settings menu which will show you which apps have been using up the most of your precious battery charge.
Make sure you prepare your iPhone for the updates by updating all your apps to the latest versions, backing up your device in case anything goes wrong and removing any unnecessary apps, videos and photos to free up space for the installation files.
The list of officially supported iPhone devices are:
iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
But if you do not have the latest iPhone yet then you may find that all these new features might use up more of your older model's battery than you were hoping.
So with that in mind we have put together a list of some of our top tips for keeping your iPhone's battery fuller for longer.
