We’ve recently tested the flagship model of the SensoTouch series, and were thoroughly impressed. Not only does the shaver impress with working both on wet and dry skin, but it also offers an array of other features, and a gorgeous look and feel.
Look-wise, the one we tested was an attractive red model. It feels velvety in your hand, yet offers really good grip so you’ll not have to worry about injuring yourself. The charging station is compact enough to fit on the edge of a sink, though the jet clean system will need to be stored elsewhere.
On the shaving front, it’s quick and precise, and we thought it had an almost relaxing spa quality in the way it felt on skin. Afterwards the face feels soft and smooth, thought not as smooth as a non-electric blade will get you. That being said, it’s nearly impossible to cut yourself with the SensoTouch, it’s that safe.
Multi-Functional, Wet and Dry
The additional trimmer is helpful for those who do their own hair (and those who came home from the barber, who missed a bit.) Neither the shaver nor trimmer attachment work very well for coarser hair though, so it’s not advised for body hair.
This is a truly exceptional gadget, and makes a great present for the men in your life (dad, husband – just don’t give it to your bald uncle!)
