It's that time of year where men all over the world don a moustache to help raise awareness for Men's health issues. We at ligo are no different.

Several of us in the office will be taking part and updating the blog with our progress with regular updates on how we are getting on with our chosen styles (see here for some ideas for your own 'stache). I was hoping to go for the Dali but unfortunatly I just don't have the hair to do it, so I'll aim for a close approximation of the Geraldo.

About Movember

Movember began in Australia in 2003 to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers.

"We are all about the moustache and only the moustache," said Movember's U.S. Director Mark Hedstrom. "What we're asking them to do is participate by changing their appearance. What that fosters is a conversation."

From there, Hedstrom said men can explain why they're growing a mustache and start talking about men's health.

The campaign has spread to at least 21 countries, according to the organisation. The movement has grown to include Mental health issues, as well as prostate and testicular cancers.

For Movember we will be running a competition on Facebook and Twitter. Simply send us a picture of your moustache at the end of the Month and we'll pick a winner to get a top prize (watch this space for more details)
