The BT 7600 is a sleek digital cordless phone that gives you greater control over the calls that come into your home with its intelligent call blocking; a feature that allows you to put an end to disturbances from unwanted cold calls. The base of the phone features an integrated answering machine to conveniently recording and playback of messages; whilst the stylish handset provides enhanced sound quality and convenient access to all the DECT features on offer.
Call Blocking
Sales calls to your home phone are an unwanted nuisance, and the BT7600 enables you to block calls from withheld and international numbers, which account for the highest proportion of these disturbances. When used in conjunction with the useful ‘Do not Disturb’ function, which allows you to program the phone to be silent at certain times of the day (or night) and assign VIP privileges to certain contacts in the phonebook so they will always be able to get through.
User-friendly
The phone is straightforward to set up and the handset of the BT 7600 benefits from a large, amber back-lit screen, which is ideal for navigating through the intuitive menu displays and/or displaying the details of incoming callers (if subscribed to Caller ID). Contact management is made easy with a phonebook for up to 200 names and numbers, a 50-number call list, and a 30-number redial list.
Digital Answering Machine
The integrated digital answering machine provides a recording time of up to 30 minutes and play-back can be initiated from the base or the cordless handset. An audible alert can be switched on for notification of new messages in addition to the icon that will is displayed on the handset. Additional features include: call screening (for listening to messages as they are being recorded), remote access (for listening to messages via an external line), and more.
