SMS text messages of up to 160 characters in length can be sent and received. An alarm clock has also been integrated as an additional useful function.

The handset offers a long standby time of up to 300 hours and talk time of up to 20 hours and is powered by two standard batteries (NiMh, AAA). The C300 is also very low-radiation. ECO DECT variably reduces the handset’s transmitting power in keeping with its distance from the base station and, if ECO mode is enabled, additionally by 80 percent during calls. ECO Plus mode switches off the transmitting power completely in standby mode if this function is supported by all registered handsets.
