Which ? said:

The Siemens Gigaset S685 is a fantastic Best Buy home cordless phone and answering machine. Overall performance is excellent and it’s packed with advanced features. It is very expensive, however.

Pros: Excellent all-round performance, good answering machine, impressive range of features

Cons: No Sim-card reader, below-average battery life

We say:

Agreed on the whole. Very good phone with lots of nice features. Deserving to be a best buy. Just a shame it took more than 3 months for Which? to review it. On a side note, we found prices to be much less than that suggested on Which?.

Guide price

Single handset: £69.99
Twin handset: £98.99
